About

I’m a software engineer, hovercraft builder, and artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. From 2008 to 2019 I spent most of my time designing, building, and iterating on the hovercraft I sculpted to look exactly like a Delorean. I had so much fun engineering it that I knew I wanted to make a career out of engineering. I chose software engineering because of the infinite possibilities for creativity, and after attending the Rithm School full stack web development bootcamp in 2021 I knew I made the right decision! In my spare time I like surfing, meditating, designing inventions, and reading about psychology, politics, and the philosophy of science.

Delorean Hovercraft

I spent 4+ years building a full-size, functional, amphibious, hovering Delorean from scratch, and another 7+ years upgrading it and entertaining crowds with it.

Enlightenment Detector 5000

This was an interactive art piece I built for the 2019 Science and Nonduality Conference, a meeting of meditation experts and scientists. A sensor was hooked up to the Arduino microcontroller so that when someone walked through the detector it would randomly light up either "ENLIGHTENED" or "NOT ENLIGHTENED" on the top.
